The Guerrero Prosecutor's Office is investigating the disappearance of ten people, including women and minors, in an incident related to merchants in Chilapa.

Authorities in Guerrero reported that search warrants have been issued for the disappearance of ten people, among whom are two women and three minors. According to local media, nine of the missing individuals are family members who were heading to Chilapa to sell handcrafted products. An Amber Alert was activated for the missing teenagers, identified as Raymundo Santos Francisco (13 years old), Leandro Geovanni Francisco Sacristán (14 years old), and Diego Alfonso Francisco Sacristán (16 years old). The two missing women, mothers of the teenagers, were identified as Clara Francisco Cabrera (30 years old) and Flor Itulia Cabrera Sánchez (53 years old).

The Attorney General's Office of the State of Guerrero has launched an investigation for the crime of disappearance of these ten individuals. After receiving the report of disappearance, the Standardized Investigation Protocol for the Search of Missing Persons was activated. Localization actions were implemented, and search warrants were issued to assist in locating the missing persons. Among the missing individuals are also Héctor Santos de la Cruz (32 years old), José Enrique Francisco Cabrera (26 years old), Alfonso Francisco Cabrera (35 years old), and Mario Francisco Millán (49 years old). No general information has been provided about the tenth missing person being sought by the attorney general.
